Istria Tour

Istria - Croatia's largest peninsula - is a picturesque mosaic that will enchant you not only with its coast, but also with the beauty and diversity of its inland parts.

The city of Pula is the gem of our today’s excursion; it dates back from the Roman times, as testified by its beautiful and very well preserved Amphitheatre, the sixth-largest in the world. The Temple of Augustus, the ancient city walls, the Golden Gate and many other monuments built under the Roman Empire prove that Pula was an important centre in that era.

After the guided city tour, we will take a bus ride to Rovinj, another town whose cultural monuments testify to its rich history. Our sightseeing tour of Poreč will include a visit to a remarkable early Christian cathedral – Euphrasian Basilica, included in UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage List, and many other symbols telling the stories of the town’s 2,000-year-long history.
